Tracey Thorn book event in Paris

Book/interview event featuring Tracey Thorn.

On 16 March 2016 at Silencio (142 Rue Montmartre, 75002 Paris, France), singer Tracey Thorn will be talking about her books, life, and career in an exclusive onstage interview with DJ/writer Dave Haslam. The venue will be open at 19:30 (the interview starts 20:30).

***The event is free but guests must register in advance. Numbers are very limited.

To secure a place please email Dave Haslam here; ParisEvents2016@aol.com

In the mid 1980s, Tracey met Ben Watt and formed Everything But The Girl; they were a cult band that also had multiple hits, including ‘Missing’ (which sold three million copies worldwide), and Tracey has also performed as a guest on some amazing songs, including ‘Protection’ (Massive Attack) and ‘Disappointing’ (on the new album by John Grant). Her first book – her autobiography, ‘Bedsit Disco Queen’ – is an honest, perceptive and funny memoir. Her recent book, ‘Naked at the Albert Hall’ is an inside account of the art of singing.

Her books will be on sale at Silencio on the night. Tracey will sign books at the end of the event. Thanks to Shakespeare & Co for providing the books.

The onstage interview will be in English, followed by audience questions (also in English please).
