First time I’d played in this venue in Paris (142 rue Montmartre). The party hosted by the brilliant French magazine ‘Les Inrockuptibles’, and featured a band, Frustration, live. They were clearly very influenced by Brit post punk and did a Joy Division cover version. Along with JD Beauvallait – the editor of ‘Les Inrocks’ – I was interviewed by Guillaume at the club for a podcast but don’t quite know how to access this but it must exist somewhere in cyberspace.
